The i3 Fairway Wood borrows patented technology from the TiSI driver including a nearly parallel
top and sole, variable face thickness, an elliptical backweight, and a multi-functional thermoplastic
hosel, yet it's small and compact to give golfers the control they need.
The club's low center of gravity results from a tungsten weight strategically placed in the sole
of the club.

These fairway woods are designed for players who prefer a more compact head. The small and compact head allows a shorter radius sole, making it easier to hit solid shots from all types of lies. In addition the fairway woods have full faces to prevent skied or popped-up shots.

As with all PING clubs, i3 fairway woods are designed to be custom-fit to you. In addition to a
choice of lofts, shaft flexes, grip sizes and swingweights, the thermoplastic hosel is available in
8 different lie and face angles.
This allows a fitter to recommend specifications that can help a
golfer reduce or eliminate hooks and slices and help "dial in" a preferred shot shape.
